To be clear, the game freezes when it reaches 9000, not 10000. This is when a medal referencing an overused joke is supposed to unlock.

AeronMusic responds:

Ha, ironic isn't it? About the issue: it's related to unlocking a medal: "Cannot read property 'filter' of undefined at Object.NG.getMedal". I most probably can't fix this because I have no idea where the project file is.

Anyway, I made this game (with help of a template) years ago in Construct 2 when I had no programming experience. Now I have, so maybe I will revamp this game in a different engine later. Idk yet

The third vaccine level requires glitching into a wall and jumping to get the top bit. It should be possible to get without this nonsense.

the golden anchor medal must have broken since it unlocked despite the fact that I restarted each stage many times.

If anyone's curious, it's possible to get every piece of gold without upgrading your speed at all.
Oh, and the max levels for the upgrades are: speed: 20, Ollie height: 20, trick points: 30, gold earned: 50, extra time: 12
if the medal doesn't award, undo one upgrade, refresh, and add it again.
I found that the best grinding method is to just get the 25 and 100 on the first level and then immediately restart. By the time I upgraded "gold earned" completely, I was getting about 400 every few seconds.

<s>At least the first medal does not work. If you select a case after ending the game, it asks you to "select Infinity more cases...", which I assume is not intended...</s>

<s>How do you get the "Gambler" medal? I finished a game with one cent and one million dollars as the two options, kept my case, and won the million dollars. Isn't that the largest risk possible?</s>

Gambler medal unlocked now. hm

Mocha2007 responds:

Nice catch on the case thing! I pushed an update which should fix that bug. I'm still working on fixing the medal though, not sure why it's not working.

I like this a lot! It's pretty short and not very difficult (I didn't get hit until level eight), but I think the aesthetic is very cute and the music matches the game well. After beating the game, I'll now make another red heart, this one to the right and above the submission.

I like it, but there are some problems that come with having upgrades randomized. You often get more of a certain upgrade than the maximum, leaving your other attributes severely under powered. This makes it even more difficult to complete the appropriately named hard mode.

HealliesGames responds:

Yup, the hard mode is the game in its most pure form. x)
More like "Hell" mode.

Glad you liked the game and thanks for the feedback, OneThousandMeeps!

Interesting mechanics but very slow moving. Nice choice of music. It might have felt a bit short if your character moved at a normal pace, but as it is it's an okay length. I have to say, it was a great idea to require future mechanics to get early lights. It leaves you wondering what the mysterious objects are at the beginning but solves your query later.

There isn't really anything you can do to get more blue dots, so you might as well have just made the score increase based on how much time you're alive.
