I got to the last level but couldn't find the tennis ball, so I continued, was still unable to find the tennis ball, and restarted the level. Almost none of the items were even on the screen. When I restarted again, absolutely none of the items were on the screen. I've had to replay the entire game several times because of this glitch.

Wooooooooooooooooooo responds:

hmm it used to work, I think its something to do with browsers not liking my old ways of coding, I'll see if I can do something about it though, Ty for letting me know

You should clarify: For the power-up related medals you need to use three of them at the same time.

Miltage responds:

Thanks, I'll adjust the text.

The bugged medals should either be fixed or removed.

Bigaston responds:

That's a good idea, I've deleted all of the medals!

Not too bad once you memorise all the locations, but it really does drag on getting the last medal. I didn't really improve my speed after 50 rounds, but it took 250 rounds to reach that million points.

Wooooooooooooooooooo responds:

I may add some more areas in time, So i'll maybe tweak it to 500k score too. Thanks for playing :)

Hmm, it appears I am only the second person, at least on Newgrounds, to finish the game. Is everyone else experiencing lag? It played flawlessly through the NG Player for me. The whole game took about three hours to finish, and I think the ending's pretty cool.
I preferred to use mouse controls as they allow more precise movement and have an easy way to stop oneself. The score multiplier was a good idea, and I liked trying to get the emerald gems for extra points, but you really should be able submit your score without ending the game. Still, very fun, and worth it to complete.

RatherRandomReality responds:

Thank you for your review sir. And congrats on beating it!

Not too hard once you get a hang of it. Thanks for the points :3 I feel bad for that one guy who saved exactly six moai. So close, yet so far...

Satyre responds:

That's exactly the spirit of the game ^^

Thanks for your review :)

Very fun game. It can be hard, but it's never unbearable! (has someone already made that pun?) Definitely worth completing entirely, though I do wish some medals were worth more than others. Maybe have "Achievement Hunter" worth 100pts, while "Shiny Treasure" and "Congratulations?" are worth 25pts.

I'm curious about the name. Is it saying that the bear has a leap jet? Is that a type of jet? Or is it telling the jet bear to leap? i.e. Leap, jet bear!

The music is very good, though to others I concur; it gets rather repetitive after a while. Maybe it doesn't need one track per level, but at least more than one for the entire game. The background also becomes uninteresting over time; perhaps the game could be split into sections with one background and one track per section. Maybe the music could even be based around the backgrounds. The art is also very nice. The medal designs are cute. I think there should have been more than one color for the bears navel for the bonus characters. The pink bear could definitely have had pink and purple as it's colors. I'm not as sure about the other ones. Maybe green and blue for the green bear, and white and grey for the black bear.

Oh, before I finish, here's one tip for level 17. If you get in the right spot, you can pass right in between the saw blades! Just wait for the saws to come down and then jump and fly through them. This'll give you more time to get to the top. It won't help with bonus modes, though it may make it easier to complete without checkpoints.

MadNukin responds:

Hey I'm glad you enjoyed the game.
The name is suppose to tell what the game does, you leap and you jet around with a bear!
Thanks for the wonderful review :D

To get the "Mother of Gun" achievement, it seems you need to complete the game only using the base weapon and not any other guns.
The game breaks when playing again after beating it once. Reloading solves the issue.
I made a guide on my profile for anyone who needs it.

Harlemblack responds:

I really appreciate your effort with the game. Thank you😸

Very interesting controls that take a while to get used to. I completed easy mode in 5 minutes 32 seconds, and I nearly finished normal just a few minutes ago. I guess it is possible to finish with no deaths on normal, but I bet it will take a while before anyone legitimately does so. The game's really hard, but actually possible with enough time and effort. Good job on that. Though <i>Please</i> don't make your next game even harder! I don't know how much of this I can take.

Edit: damn, I nearly did it again. I was only ~3 jumps away! oof
Oh, and one more thing. Could you add a button that goes back to the menu? I don't like refreshing whenever I mess up badly.

DJBatz responds:

press M while playing! that's the "menu" reset, R resets the level ; )

You can screw up on normal, a no death run (medal included) is really really really hard.

A good minor screw ups run on normal is like 11 minutes. It's all about speed and precision.

I have a few questions:
How do you get the first secret medal?
Why are there pyramids (at least that's what the background features look like) on the moon?
What is the "naught" a reference to? I know it means zero or nothing, but what about that relates to this game?
How did you already fix a bug in less than 5 hours?
This one isn't a question; I just thought I'd say that the ending is pretty neat.

ImmanentDeath responds:

I'll give you a hint about the secret medal (I'd rather not give it away since it's a secret): it can be found by waiting patiently in an open, quiet spot, where certain... astronomical events may unfold.

Those pyramids are my attempt at drawing a background for the moon's surface, something like hills or mountains. I can see why they might look odd at first. And the "naught" just reflects the theme of the game a little. There isn't much here on the moon or in it's empty caves. I just thought it made for an interesting title.

And I fixed that bug by simply changing some values and reuploading the game again. There was a code block that used to run way too many times a second, which I think was causing the performance problem. Gotta get it fixed fast so less people have to deal with it.
